Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation
From Bikeqld
The Western Brisbane Transport Network Investigation is a Queensland Transport project under the South East Queensland Regional Plan and South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan and Programme to develop a transport plan for the area to the west of Brisbane, bordered by Ipswich, the Brisbane Valley and Caboolture.
The Draft Project Overview says it "will encompass all transport modes — public transport, roads, walking and cycling" (section 1), but its terms of reference (section 3) refer heavily to the proposed Western Bypass and only one point refers to non-motorised modes. The scope (section 4.1) is limited to "regionally significant" transport infrastructure and needs.
