Toowong - Miskin St - Obscured Bike Symbols

Miskin Street at Toowong is one of the main streets feeding into the Western Freeway Bikeway. Unfortunately like much of the bicycle infrastructure around Brisbane it is often neglected or given low priority when compared with the car infrastructure. This section of Miskin St was dug up for services and when it was later filled back in and resealed the white lines were remarked but the yellow bike symbols were not. This problem was reported to the Council on 18 Jul 06. In the Council's response dated 23 Aug 06 they stated that the work had been done by Energex and that it would be rectified to Standard at Energex's expense.
