Kurilpa Bridge

Kurilpa Bridge (known prior to construction as the Tank Street Bridge) is a $63.3m pedestrian and cycle bridge from Tank Street at the west edge of the Brisbane CBD across to the Millenium Arts Project precinct and Montague Road, South Brisbane. The bridge was built by Baulderstone Hornibrook for the Department of Public Works and is scheduled to be opened by Premier Anna Bligh on Sunday, 4 October 2009. [1]

- 2 May 2009: bridge met in the middle [8]
- Mid 2009: construction to finish [9]
- 4 October 2009: official opening [10]
