The South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan and Programme is published and updated annually by the Office of Urban Management to track implementation of the South East Queensland Regional Plan [1]. Most of the expenditure is on transport, with money also available for (in decreasing order): water, energy, health, education, recreation and justice infrastructure [2].

Projects relevant to cyclists include:

• the pedestrian and bicycle Tank Street Bridge and Kangaroo Point Bridge,
• the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and Boonah to Ipswich Trail, [3]
• the Gateway Upgrade Project,
• the Busways, and
• the North-South Bypass Tunnel, Airport Link and Hale Street Link.
