South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan and Programme

The South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan and Programme is published and updated annually by the Office of Urban Management to track implementation of the South East Queensland Regional Plan [1]. Most of the expenditure is on transport, with money also available for (in decreasing order): water, energy, health, education, recreation and justice infrastructure [2].
Projects relevant to cyclists include:
- the pedestrian and bicycle Tank Street Bridge and Kangaroo Point Bridge,
- the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and Boonah to Ipswich Trail, [3]
- the Gateway Upgrade Project,
- the Busways, and
- the North-South Bypass Tunnel, Airport Link and Hale Street Link.
