Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices
From Bikeqld
The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices is a Department of Main Roads publication describes the meaning and usage of all signs, markings and other devices used on Queensland roads. Going beyond the road rules, which focus on the meaning of regulatory devices and penalties for disobeying them, the MUTCD also covers advisory and other devices, and provides guidance for engineers in how and where to use them.
The MUTCD is split into fourteen sections, of which the most relevant to cyclists are the first, listing all signs, and the ninth, providing bicycle-specific information.
