Lutwyche Road

Cycling along Lutwyche Rd is a terrible idea given that there is little in terms of a bus lane and that there are no bike lanes whatsoever. Lutwyche Rd itself starts at the intersection of Gympie and Stafford Rds and from there it is an uphill push to get to Lutwyche along the M3 motorway (which becomes the ICB).

From the corner of Lutwyche Rd and Bradshaw St, Lutwyche Rd becomes two and a half lanes (with the half-lane for the Lutwyche bus stop). Lutwyche Rd pinches to two lanes at the Windsor School of Arts as it deviates into Truro St (four lanes, including one Transit Lane).

Lutwyche Rd is a very busy road for commuting in peak hour and is frequented by trucks and buses from early morning until late in the night.
