Date Sat 20 May 2006
Start 10am, City Botanical Gardens (Edward St), Brisbane
Finish 10:30am (approx), Parliament House, Brisbane
Route map, 5-10km, at 13-18km/hr (approx)

The purpose of the ride is to remember those cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling, and to campaign for improved safety for cyclists both on and off the road.

To help draw attention to the reason for the ride, cyclists who have suffered injury due to motorists or poor roads, infrastructure or other facilities should wear a red band on the right arm, and those who know a cyclist lost due to a serious road accident should wear a black arm band.

The ride is to be in silence, as far as possible. Cyclists should ride in a column two abreast. All road rules must be followed.
