Not for much longer. There's a new bi-directional, protected bike lane 
along George St between Turbot St and Herschel St:

There was even parking removed to make space for it, and it arguably 
connects to the new bike lanes that were marked around Roma St, Turbot 
St, etc for the King George Square cycle centre. Not so well to the 
Bicentennial Bikeway, though.
