Interesting article. Perhaps Mr McMahon is trying to make up for all  
the dreadfully provocative anti-cyclist articles he has been  
responsible for in the past. Not sure I like its main premise that  
"cycling on the roads is really dangerous". Hardly helpful to our  
cause in the long run.
